Procurement Accountant, Global Lead

This role will be part of the Global Finance team in Procurement Accounting. This team provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial services, and compliance guidance to our Operating Companies around the world. This team makes sure that we run a clean supply chain from start to the end.

The Procurement Accounting team is responsible for accounting for all the payable process flows, including but not limited to Prepayments, GRIR and AP balance sheet accounts.

Role responsibilities

1. Use structured and unstructured data to develop digital dashboards by implementing machine learning workflow
2. Engineer and extract features from raw data that capture clinically relevant aspects of disease symptoms
3. Develop software tools and scripts at scale to support data analysis and interpretation pipelines
4. Present and discuss findings with project teams, support iterative solutions development and scientific research
5. Integrate and summarize large-scale data and information across multiple scientific, translational, and clinical domains
6. Communicate effectively with team members, experts, and regulatory authorities
7. Function in the matrix of both project-centric and discipline-centric expectations

Basic Qualifications

1. A minimum Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting, finance, or related business discipline.
2. At least 0-2 years of professional experience is required.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
4. Be open to new ideas, rapid change, and embrace new technologies.
5. Strong Analytical Skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in Global Accounting for a large multi-state company.
2. Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge.
